The Trike Transporter is sleek, trim, easy to operate and is amazingly adjustable. In the niche market of trike hitch racks, this new design will revolutionize the way these racks are built. Instead of supporting the tires with wheel trays, our rack simply secures the frame in three places. The frame rests softly in three rubber cradles with built-in attachment straps. Two cradles secure the main tube and can be adjusted all along the main beam of the rack. The third cradle secures the outrigger tube and can be adjusted all along the outrigger support. The angle of the outrigger support is adjustable as well.
It is designed for a 1 1/4 inch receiver but it will be too light to accomodate an Add-On Unit. If you need a double trike rack, we offer the 2 inch unit (listed separately).
Compatible with all WizWheelz trikes and many other tadpole trike brands on the market including Trice and Catrike. Not compatible with Greenspeed or HP Velotechnik.
At speeds above 45mph we recommend that you remove the trike seat or seat mesh. The seat can act as a parachute and will kill your gas milage and potentially bend the hitch rack at high enough speeds.
