About Dan

For the past 12 years, artist Dan Price has extensively studied the concepts of simplicity, paring down his possessions and lifestyle in order to lead an environmentally responsible way of life. He has lived in tipis, huts, tents and an underground kiva.

Along the way he has documented his discoveries with his illustrated journal Moonlight Chronicles. In October 2001 he gave his old car to his son and now travels primarily by bicycle. Recently Price went on the hunt to find the ultimate human powered vehicle and found WizWheelz. "It's perfect," he said. "Now I can ride in comfort whether I'm zipping downtown for groceries or across the nation on an extended tour!"

"It's really exciting to be joining forces with a company like WizWheelz," Price added. "We both truly believe in the old adage 'Less is More' and by promoting the use of pedal power we feel people's health and the very air we breathe can only be improved."

Latest Update:
HE MADE IT!!! Dan arrived in Key West on Thursday February 13th. The people of Key West gave him a warm welcome and the Chamber of Commerce created a video journal of his arrival and invited the news media for interviews. Dan finished his trip at Sloppy Joe's Bar and was presented with a slice of key lime pie, a T-shirt and a beer from the management of the bar. After Dan decompressed for a few days in Key West, we flew him up to Hastings for a celebration with the company before flying him home to Oregon.
