Linda Johnson is 45 years old and has been diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia five years ago. Friedreich’s Ataxia is a recessive hereditary degenerative disease. It slowly kills the nerves that connect to the brain making it more and more difficult to walk, talk, and perform fine motor skills.
She is riding one of our Cruisers in a fundraiser for ataxia. It is a 600+-mile bike ride from Sacramento to Las Vegas where the National Ataxia Foundation yearly conference is being held.
